My almost 3 year old son is starting "preschool" next week and has milk, egg, and peanut allergies. I am a nervous wreck. Just wanted to kind of introduce myself, b/c I will be following your blog. I hope to learn from you. Thanks, JoyChase's Momahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13040704311133643008noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7791147721832190914.post-58418646531665277612009-04-01T12:31:00.000-05:002009-04-01T12:31:00.000-05:00I'm so sorry to hear about this! You should definitely file a complaint about this day care. I hope you figure out a solution. I'll see you tonight!merastormhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02589644950199023116noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7791147721832190914.post-57342914247642121502009-03-26T14:01:00.000-05:002009-03-26T14:01:00.000-05:00Oh my goodness! I can't believe they would do something about this- I hope you can find a good lawyer.Melaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03519161983452611310noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7791147721832190914.post-15649524789204118472009-03-22T23:56:00.000-05:002009-03-22T23:56:00.000-05:00I'm so sorry. (I'm almost kidding about that being an upside.)

Good luck with the childcare dilemma. It's hard enough to trust anyone with your child under normal circumstances. My husband and I ended up deciding that I would "only" work part time, since the pay difference would go to day care anyway. We've managed to adjust our schedules so that one of us is always available, but it's really, really tough.

I hope you share what you end up deciding to do. Big bloggy hugs to you. How very scary, I just can't imagine. I'm always here if you want to vent or talk. Big hugs to you and Nathan. Not sure what you should do about the DC as far as taking him back as it might be hard to train a new place as well.

I also think you need to report them to your state's licensing board or whomever licensed the center (here it's the dept of social services) so this can go on their permanent record. That way if another parent is checking out their background they can see this.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7791147721832190914.post-40023564905700434222009-03-20T18:41:00.000-05:002009-03-20T18:41:00.000-05:00Wow, what a long, emotionally draining day. I'll be sending you a note later b/c I don't want to be too long. I'm not sure how this happened with a daycare he's been with for two years, but obviously there needs to be some serious changes in procedures (that's my short comment about the daycare). BIG HUGS!!!! I'm thinking of you and am sending hugs from Emma to Nathan!!!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01885585188424171176noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7791147721832190914.post-54323702797956907022009-03-20T09:12:00.000-05:002009-03-20T09:12:00.000-05:00This is horrible! I think I would have a hard time sending him back. You trusted them with the most important thing in your life and they betrayed that, accident or not.jltri02https://www.blogger.com/profile/16763109506555792894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7791147721832190914.post-87336407201903832932009-03-20T08:34:00.000-05:002009-03-20T08:34:00.000-05:00Jeanette, I hope your little guy is finally doing ...Jeanette, I hope your little guy is finally doing okay.
